About Corine - Full Bio
I founded Armentano Designs to offer something I felt was missing in the design world: a deeply personal, tailored experience that blends beauty, balance, and comfort into everyday living.
Before starting my business, I worked as one of the top designers for the Williams-Sonoma family of brands, focusing on full-service interior and exterior design. I chose to work in retail because I wanted to understand the client journey from the ground up—helping homeowners with everything from kitchens & baths to whole-home styling, and learning how to make the design process approachable and enjoyable.
I also worked in the construction industry in the New York metro area. Immersed in that fast-paced environment, I gained valuable insight into building practices, project management, and the importance of clear communication. Alongside that, I studied kitchen and bath design at Parsons School of Design. Together, these experiences shaped my philosophy: design should combine technical expertise with a personal connection, making every project both professional and collaborative.
My passion for interiors began in childhood, spending summers at Colt Barn Farm in Vermont, a home filled with antiques, art, and layered design. I grew up between Long Island, Vermont, Pennsylvania, and the beaches of Fire Island—places that continue to influence my aesthetic. That relaxed, coastal sophistication is now a hallmark of my work in Westport, CT, and beyond.
With over 20 years of experience, I’ve designed homes throughout New York, South Carolina, and Connecticut, including a home in North Salem NY that had two movies filmed there. Today, I offer full-service interior design for clients locally and virtually across the U.S.—blending coastal elegance with timeless style, from rustic modern coastal to sophisticated metro chic.
Whether you’re building a home from the ground up or refreshing a beloved space, I bring warmth, creativity, and care to every detail— designing homes that are truly meant to be lived in beautifully.
